Track and field events are now underway at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with dozens of competitions scheduled through the end of the games on August 8. NBC and NBC Sports will air track and field events live each day along with primetime coverage and daily highlights online. Select events are also available to stream live on Peacock for free.

With so many track and field disciplines to watch at the Olympics, following the ongoing schedule can be difficult, but we've put together a list of some of the most anticipated medal events. For more Olympic coverage, be sure to check out our schedule breakdowns for gymnastics, swimming, basketball, and soccer.

Whether you're looking to follow every running event or a specific competition like pole vaulting or hammer throw, you can stream every track and field event live on NBCOlympics.com or the NBC Sports app. To stream, you'll need to log in with a pay-TV provider that has access to NBC stations and NBC Sports.

Because of the time difference, many track and field events at the Tokyo Olympics will air live during the early morning hours between 3 a.m. ET and 8 a.m. ET. Track and field events will be a regular part of NBC's daily primetime broadcasts as well.

A few events will air on NBC partner channels like USA and CNBC, but NBC and NBC Sports will carry the bulk of track and field TV coverage. In addition to NBC's online and broadcast coverage, you can watch select track and field events live on Peacock, NBC's free streaming service.

If you don't have a cable provider, you can use a live TV streaming service like Sling TV, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, or YouTube TV to watch NBC's TV coverage of track and field.

Sling TV is the most affordable option to get every Olympic channel. The Sling Blue plan starts at $35/month for access to NBC, NBCSN, and USA. New subscribers can get their first month for just $10, and the Olympic Channel is free through August 8. If you want to add CNBC, you'll have to pay $6 a month for the news extra package.

Below, we've collected a full list of the dates and times for each track and field medal event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. You'll need to stream most of these events on NBCOlympics.com, the NBC Sports app, or Peacock to watch them live, with a few exceptions.

You can also find highlights on Peacock and NBCOlympics.com, along with primetime rebroadcasts of key moments on NBC.
